Jeep Compass is on sale in India with the price brand of INR 14.95 Lakh to 20.65 Lakh from July 31 2017. The Compass launch is one more example that Jeep can produce cars that can take on anything and literally go anywhere. Jeep took a really long time to kick off their Indian voyage and after the launch of the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee, it seems like an American manufacturer unfolded all its gems.

Jeep Compass is launched with both Petrol and Diesel variants. The new 2.0-litre Turbocharged diesel engine belongs to the same family of Fiat’s multijet diesel engines. This particular engine makes 171 bhp and pumps out 350 Nm of torque and if our drive experience is anything to go by, it is a gem of an engine. Jeep has also introduced the 1.4-litre Multi air petrol engine that will make 160 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.
Jeep says that it has used a lot of hot-stamped parts which form over 17 per cent body-in-white of the Compass. The 64 per cent of the body of Jeep Compass is made of high-strength steel and composite materials.
Jeep Compass has some amazing features blended within it. It comes with leather wrapped steering wheel, Uconnect infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Dual-zone automatic temperature control, Ski greay leather upholstery etc.
The Compass pushes the boundaries of innovation with its three available wheel designs that combine strong shapes with lightweight materials. The design helps them to function equally well in the city or the great outdoors. Compass comes with dazzling front headlamp options that feature details like distinctive daytime running lamps with an available LED lighting strip.
